“Nothing new under the sun…” – Ecclesiastes 1:9

No matter what part of the journey of life you are going through whether it is a time of rest, struggle, indecision, pain, joy, drought, healing or maybe something else.  It is comforting to remember someone else may have been through something similar to you.

C.S. Lewis once said; “Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: “What! You too? I thought I was the only one.”

We never need to be alone in life and we often have more in common with one another than differences.

My family and I have been extremely busy as we minister here in the Outback of Queensland, Australia. The draught has taken it’s toll on the land, live stock and precious families who live out here. Many properties have had to destock all together. Some folk have had to walk off their properties still in debt. Since we have been out here we have had a very tiny amount of rain at home (a few hours of drizzle) and we haven’t seen a good soaking at all. In saying that; God has everything in control and “there is nothing new under the sun.” Even under the blistering sun in Queensland.

I would love to blog more, unfortunately I am time poor at the moment. The families out here have needed our time and so this teeny blog has had to go on the back burner. I just haven’t got extra time up my sleeves.

I made this little pic on my iPad. I hope you like it 😀

Hope you have a blessed and happy day!
